Tips per discipline

In addition to all classical cultural activities, you will undertake 3 (HAVO) or 5 (VWO) cultural activities independently. There are a number of conditions that we set for a suitable cultural activity. We believe it is important that you become acquainted with as many art disciplines as possible. Below are a number of guidelines and tips listed per discipline.

The most current activities can be found in ELO under activities.

NB:

Always make a preliminary report. By means of the preliminary report you can prepare yourself optimally and your ckv teacher can check the content and level of the activity.
Ticket, proof of participation or photo of yourself during the activity is mandatory.

Theater

A theatre performance can be a cabaret performance, a musical, a play or, for example, a show.

Film

The film you choose to watch and report on must be a so-called FILM HOUSE FILM or Arthouse film. It is best to undertake this activity after period 3 because we will then discuss the theme of film and the associated theory. Beautiful locations with a varied film programme are:

- www.deruchte.nl in Someren (about 2x per month on Tuesday and Wednesday evening, ticket costs 5 euros)

NB;

The film must be viewed outside the home, so no Netflix.

- You can also choose a number of (street) artworks. Think of the flying pins in Eindhoven or the graffiti in the Berenkuil. The condition here is that you visit and describe/analyse at least 3 artworks.
