HEROES
The goal of this assignment is to photograph your hero, your role model. Who do you look up to? Who taught you something valuable? Who do you have fond memories of? Who would you like to be for a day?
To determine who your hero is, you can think of idols from sports or music, history or current affairs, film or reality. When taking photographs, it is important to know how to portray 'heroism'. In art, film or in photographs, heroes are depicted in different ways, but always in such a way that the person in question commands respect and prestige from the viewer. Reality is often exaggerated in this, that is to say that the hero is depicted as larger or grander than he actually deserves. For example, it is known that Napoleon Bonaparte was actually quite small in size, his portraitists were forced to portray him much larger.
You will complete this assignment in a group of two to a maximum of four people. Please note: one person will submit the assignment. Please inform the teacher in advance who this person will be. You may ask others to assist you in posing for the photo.
Of course we are very happy to publish the results on this website. However, we never do this without permission from the makers and/or portrayed hero(es)!
