PO Film
Group assignment
You will make a short film (max 4min.) with a group of maximum four people, in which you apply all the film knowledge you have acquired in the previous lessons. Make clear choices in film genre and film techniques.
We will jointly assess the film based on the following questions:
- Can the story and genre be named and clearly recognized?
- Is the framing correct?
- Were different camera angles used to emphasize the story?
- Does the sound/sound effects contribute to the atmosphere and story?
- Has sufficient/striking/atmosphere-enhancing use been made of light (light/dark contrast)?
- Is the editing smooth, are all images relevant to the story?
- Does the story have a clear beginning, middle and end?
You can earn a total of 10 points.

Plan of approach
To maintain an overview of everyone's tasks, the implementation of this project has been divided into four main aspects, each with its own specific function.
The first aspect is to come up with the film, the story. Come up with the plan, the script and the storyboard together, but make one person the main person responsible.
The second aspect is the filming itself. Make one person responsible for directing the group during and before filming. This person is concerned with everything that concerns the progress of the production, the feasibility in time, money, people and materials.
The third aspect is the editing. Make sure that one person is responsible for this as well. Use programs like movie maker or imovie.
The final aspect is reflecting on the collaboration and writing a report.
All four main groups are equally important.
